Office of Children’s Services and positions that provide patient, resident, or food services at 24-hour facilities such as the
Alaska Psychiatric Institute,
Pioneer Homes, and
Juvenile Justice Facilities. These positions are exempt from the statewide hiring freeze that took effect on May 9, 2025.
